If you know me at all, you know that I love this kid. His Mama is dating my son. She and Harrison have become part of our family. This boy is a walking miracle. He was born at 24 weeks gestation and spent a long time in the NICU. His mom is the most selfless woman I know. She takes the best care of him, raising him to love God and be respectful and kind. She is teaching him to be a thankful person. He is so quick to say THANK YOU and to throw out compliments. He will often say, “Oh thank you Mommy” or “that is so sweet” or (one… Keep Reading
I hope you had an amazing Fourth of July! We slipped away this week to simply relax together as a family. One last calm before the storm if you will since we move in less than a month! Being a Pastor’s kid can be hard sometimes…like when your parents call you and your siblings downstairs and ask you to pray about moving. My girls have been so wise and positive about this whole process. They have taught me so much. This past Wednesday was this sweet girl’s 15th birthday. Meet Miss Priss… She is just the perfect amount of joyfullness with the right amount of an analytical side. She is seriously smart. The times that I have been with her, she really observes me like she’s checking me out/trying to figure out why I’m there, all the while with a smile on her face. She is such a delight! Check out the last 2 images…I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing images displayed in my clients’ homes!!
Little man and his big sister… I’ve had the honor of photographing this little man since he was just a few months old. It’s hard to believe that he’s 4 years old already. I love when clients turn into friends. His Mama is precious to me. Such a sweet friend. He and his big sister are the most polite kids and such good listeners. I just LOVE when they come back to Houston to visit! See if you can spot his stitches….I removed them for some of the photos but Mama wanted me to leave them in some of them for memory’s sake. 😉
Meet Ellis. Her Daddy, Caleb, was one of our teens in our youth group when we lived in Pennsylvania. He grew up and quickly became one of our dearest friends. He moved to Texas after we had been here a few years and met the most amazing woman. We loved Haley from the first time we met her. Caleb has already been an amazing Dad by always treating Haley’s oldest daughter like his very own. He loves his girls. What a blessing it’s been for me to watch this boy turn into a man before my very eyes. I am proud of the man of God that he… Keep Reading
